Donate your device

Thank you for offering to donate your device(s). Your donation will be refurbished and given to a recipient who really needs it. Typically, recipients are

• People who are isolated and have restricted opportunities to communicate with the outside world (we also support them with learning how to use the device)
• Families who have children that need to do homework, and have no computer or internet connection to help them with this
• People on low income who need the device to assist them with developing important life skills, such as literacy, job hunting, or access to essential services.

When your device is refurbished, the current software installed on it, including the operating system (Windows, Mac OS etc) is completely removed. So nothing from the previous installation is visible. If you request it, we can also do the DoD bit wipe.

Once you have filled in the form we will contact you if you need to arrange a time when the device can be delivered. Delivery can be to our office in Forest Hill, Ewart Hall, or one of the drop off points in the borough. Delivery to our office will mean the device will get to a suitable recipient more quickly. Here is a full list of the drop off points and the times they are open:
