Being online has become essential for accessing day to day services, whether you are an elderly person wanting to do online shopping, or a schoolchild doing homework. There are still many people in Lewisham who don't have a computer or laptop at home. Our device library lends devices to people free of charge. However, we need people to install software on donated hardware.

Once we get a laptop delivered to us we need to wipe it of all data, and install a new operating system on it. This is quite a simple process, which we will teach you how to carry out. There is also an opportunity to learn how to add items to our device library. This role can be carried out at the Ewart Hall centre during our opening hours (10am-6pm). You are welcome to work any hours within this period. This role would suit someone who is interested in administration and basic IT work.
